I recently upgraded to the Galaxy S4... and I love it!! I'm a little disappointed that the wallpaper doesn't scroll with the screen transition, but that's what launchers are for, right?
Anyway, I decided I wanted to build myself a template... and then when I actually did it I just couldn't stop. Now it's so cool I can't help but to share. What is it?
One 2160x1920 .PSD Template to cover your S4 wallpaper creation and display needs.*multiple group nests - recommended for users of Photoshop CS6 or higherWhat this is not!
This is NOT another mock-up of a phone... I just did that bit for a frame because I thought it would be fun. Look elsewhere if that's what you're after. What does it include?
The template contains the S4 phone as a frame to show you the exact crop you'll see on your screen.
Almost every facet of the phone's UI is included on separate layers... though I wouldn't recommend moving the icons, they're nearly perfectly positioned.
To accommodate those who may be using a launcher with scrolling options, the width of the phone's horizontal has been doubled in this template (2160x1920).
All of the text is customizable, however I used sanmsungsans.ttf (I will not supply this to you)... I'd recommend Roboto as a great substitute.
I've included the White Frost frame as well as the Black Mist depicted.
The "wallpaper" in the preview is actually the background in the PSD. Feel free to use it as your phone's wallpaper.
If you want to keep your file-size down in Photoshop, delete all folders except the "Plain Black" folder [ S4 + GUI> Crop Overlay > Plain Black ] and guides if you like them. How does it work?
It's so simple, you'll cry tears of joy. There's a single folder called "YOUR ART HERE". Insert (or build) your art there. Turn the "S4 + GUI" folder on and off to see how it will look on-screen. Easy-peasy!
If you're feeling feisty, customize the UI elements to suit your needs. This resource is Royalty Free.

As long as all of the included files are fully intact, and unaltered
, you're welcome to redistribute this on your website or blog without my permission. However...
(I'm disappointed I even have to write this) It's quite distasteful when I see people remove my name/address and redistribute my resources. It's not glory or prestige I want---it's that I can't help a single soul if they don't know where to find me, and they can't find me when you modify/alter my design name or web address. There's a certain level of etiquette I assume you to have when redistributing, and I will have the utmost respect for you if you upheld a moral ethic in your decisions.
